It was a gorgeous October day in New York's Hudson Valley ... a perfect day for a wedding! This bride and groom were definitely not disappointed by the weather, even though they are used to the warmth of the west coast. Carolyn and Leo traveled across the US from LA to getting married in the Hudson Valley, surrounded by their family and friends and the beauty of this region. They couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. The Hudson Valley is a destination and the fall season is perfect, if you're into spectacular foliage, amazing outdoor scenery and the cozy weather.
After a morning of transformation with stunning hair and make-up, the bride got ready in the bridal suite at the Catlin Gardens Inn. Surrounded by her bridesmaids and conveniently on-site at the Catlin Gardens, the bride was able to relax, get transformed and the results were stunning. Meanwhile, the groom and groomsmen made their way to the gardens for the anticipated revealing (also referred as the first look).
The wedding ceremony was held in the outdoor pavilion in the beautiful gardens. The ceremony music was played live by a duo comprised of violin and acoustic guitar. Carolyn and Leo, and their guests also enjoyed this beautiful music during the cocktail hour. After the ceremony, we took advantage of the spectacular location and great weather. We continued taking several fun group photographs and many romantic shots with just the newly married couple. The cocktail hour was held on the patio, near the pub, and the reception in the Austin Room. As expected, Larry of Much Music kept the celebration on high note with super fun entertainment for reception.
